Independent Senior Living: OUR TOWNHOMES

At JASLO Properties, we offer modern and spacious townhomes, to accomodate unassisted independent senior living. We have two locations within Strathroy Ontario, and both are within walking distance to amenities, shopping, and restaurants. Colborne Place was the first location we built and is located downtown at 25 Colborne Place (next to Shoppers Drug Mart). The second location built was Collins Place, and is located at 350 & 370 Ellor Street (a 2 minute walk to Walmart). At JASLO Properties, we take care of all the lawn maintenance, snow removal and any needed building maintenance. In addition to offering a clean, friendly, and private community for our residents to enjoy, we also provide a community centre for our free social programming and an abundance of indoor amenity rooms.

About Our Townhomes:

All of our townhomes are essentially the exact same layout at both Colborne Place and Collins Place, with no steps or stairs. They all offer 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, open concept kitchen and living area, private laundry room, front and back covered patios, 1 car driveway and 1 oversized car garage. Each townhome has a master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom that offers a walk-in shower (no tubs). All laundry rooms are fitted for a side by side washer and dryer, with storage above. Although we handle all the lawn maintenance, we have provided our residents with individual gardens at the front and back of each townhome, which can be utilized however they wish. Residents are also able to individually control the temperature of their townhomes through in floor heating and air conditioning.

We Offer All-Inclusive rental Pricing:

Whether you’re at Colborne Place or Collins Place, we try to make it very simple for our residents, so our townhome rentals are all-inclusive. This means that there are no extra costs on our end, when living in our community. The following is included:

• Utilities (Hydro, Heat, Water & Sewer) – Residents provide their own Phone & Internet/Cable services

• Stainless Steel Fridge, Dishwasher, Stove & Range-hood (supplied and maintained by us)

• Lawn Maintenance & Snow Removal

• Free access to our Community Centre

• Free Social Programming

Collins Place Townhomes

Collins Place is the second location we built in Strathroy with a total of 43 units. The first phase of townhomes (26 units) was completed in 2017 and is located at 350 Ellor Street. The second phase of townhomes (17 units) was completed in 2019 and is located at 370 Ellor Street connected to the first phase. Collins Place is about a 2 minute walk to Walmart and provides easy accessibility to other amenities such as pharmacies, grocery stores and restaurants. This private community is also the location that houses our community centre, which can be found within the apartment building located behind the townhomes at 370 Ellor Street.

Fun Fact: Collins Place was named after The Collins family, who owned the property for almost 100 years! John Collins and his wife, moved into Colborne Place, prior to the development of Collins Place.

Colborne Place Townhomes

Colborne Place is the first location we built in Strathroy, with a total of 46 units, and is located at 25 Colborne Place. The development of this property first started with 14 townhomes, and quickly expanded into the second phase of townhomes, adding 32 more units. The whole project came to completion in 2015, at which point our independent senior living community was born! Colborne Place can be found next door to Shoppers Drug mart in downtown Strathroy, and and is walking distance to local shopping and restaurants. Residents at our Colborne Place location, of course have free access to the amenities in our community centre, found at Collins Place.

Fun Fact: Colborne Place was named after the elementary school ‘Colborne Street School’ that once resided on the property, before closing down.
